The history of Amaro Seta is one that honors the distinctiveness of a territory. A story in which ancient popular traditions merge with the most prestigious industrial inheritances, the medieval landscape and local fauna defines this sophisticated amaro. Located upon the foot of the mountains and on the shore of picturesque Lake Como; pristine waters flow from the river Adda, fostering growth in the region.

During the 14th century, Ludovice Sforza, Duke of Milan, was inspired by the silk trade to line the banks of the lake with Mulberry trees. A successful idea indeed, the trees blossomed beyond expectation, and silkworms thrived. Silk production in Milan would subsequently become a main industry of production.

Amaro Seta is inherently wrapped in its own history, flavored with mulberry and other spices of ancient trade routes, such as saffron and cinnamon. The silk ribbon tied around the neck of the bottle is more than whimsy, and was produced by none other than Bellieni, a historic silk weaver native to Como.

The aromas and flavors of Amaro Seta call to mind a sense of time and place. The Lake Como and its passing wooden boats, a winding, copper-tinged piazza amid the setting sun, the fresh pure air of a mountaintop.
