Kilinga is a small family estate in Sonora, Mexico, named for its owner and founder, who is also affectionately known as “La Senora”. Bacanora is the native spirit of Sonora, Mexico, and is made exclusively with Angustifolia Pacifica agave. Surviving prohibition and political upheaval, Bacanora was illegal until 1992, and finally awarded an Origin Denomination in 2000, meaning it can only be made in the state of Sonora. Rodrigo Bojorquez, Kilinga's son, is the public face of the enterprise and El Maestro Bacanorero. His mission is to express Bacanora as an art form.

Kilinga is one of only 8 NOMs currently designated as official Bacanora producers—and the only one pursuing boundary-pushing innovation. Made exclusively from the finest full growth Pacifica Angustifolia in Álamos, the agave is grown on land Kilinga's family has called home for generations.
