Lightly toasty, with hints of smoked almond and toasted raisin bread mixing with flavors of black cherry puree, black currant and ground anise and ginger. Fresh and focused, with a subtle bead and bright acidity. Drink now through 2018. 4,000 cases made. –AN, Dec 2012

Dark, lurid pink. Black raspberry, cherry and white pepper on the pungent nose and in the mouth. Plush and weighty, displaying very good focus and breadth and building spiciness. Finishes long and chewy, with a lingering note of bitter cherry pit. In a round, meaty style, with red wine power and the heft to work with the richest foods, even braised or grilled red meats. In fact, this brawny, deeply concentrated pink Champagne really demands a place at the table. Josh Raynolds, Jan 2015
