The 2014 Barbera d'Asti Bricco dell'Uccellone is a lovely wine with thick contours and loads of juicy fruit packed tight within. Leather, spice and tobacco appear with good intensity. The wine is powerful within the constraints of the more challenging 2014 vintage. It shows unique success in terms of mouthfeel. Succulent fruit flavors are followed by velvety tannins and bright acidity.

Pretty sweet and sour character with purple fruits and citrus. Hints of milk chocolate. Medium body. Fresh finish. Drink now.

One of Italy's most iconic wines, this structured red opens with heady aromas of red berry, menthol and dark spice. Those alluring qualities carry over to the full-bodied, inviting palate, along with raspberry compote and licorice notes. Firm yet velvety tannins and bright acidity provide balance and the structure to age. Drink 2019–2029.
