The 2013 Donna Olga Brunello di Montalcino begins with inviting aromas of dark cherries, raspberries, herbs, spices, hazelnut and minerals all taking shape. This is medium-bodied, silly and nicely polished with lovely balance of fruit and acidity. Everything comes together beautifully on the finish, as juicy red fruits leave your mouth watering. An excellent showing which should continue to thrive in the cellar over the the next few years.
