The 2013 Vineyard Drive checks in as 45% Syrah, 30% Mourvedre and 25% Grenache (in 2013 it's from James Berry and Messina vineyards) that saw the standard 60% stems and 18 months in new and neutral French oak. Offering classic GSM notes of plums, peppery spice, smoked earth and licorice, it has full-bodied richness, plenty of texture and a balanced, incredibly drinkable style that will evolve nicely over the coming 7-8 years.

Opaque ruby. Intense cherry, raspberry and floral oil scents, plus suggestions of incense and white pepper. At once juicy and seamless, with gently sweet red berry and cherry flavors fleshing out with aeration. Silky and suave in character, finishing with excellent clarity and persistence and gentle tannins that frame the exuberant fruit.
