Bright red. Perfumed aromas and flavors of red cherry, minerals, underbrush and licorice. Light and lively for such a big wine, with only a trace of alcohol-derived warmth emerging on the back end. Well done. (14.5% alcohol)

Dark plums, some blackberry essence, ivy, bark and hints of dust. Plenty of crunchy fruit on the full-bodied palate, which is dense but nicely lifted by some refreshing acidity. Chewy finish. Drink or hold.

This Nero d'Avola opens with ripe black-skinned berry, carob and cedar aromas. The chewy savory palate offers dried black cherry, raspberry jam and cocoa alongside fine-grained tannins. Enjoy through 2022.

This outstanding Nero d’Avola is sourced from the Borgo Guarini Estate, in the Trapani countryside. It instantly opens with a wonderful range of aromatics which include blackberries, dark cherries, earth, spices, minerals and tobacco all merging together beautifully. On the palate this is medium to full bodied with notable concentration and depth, driven by a lovely fresh core of red and dark fruits, herbs and crushed stones, which all continue to persist and linger on the finish. A sensational Nero d’Avola which is drinking remarkably well right now.
