This is lovely in color, scent and flavor. Elegant and complex, it's perfect for near-term drinking. The strawberry fruit carries some darker highlights, and flavors from aging in 100% French oak bring a lightly charred, toasty frame around the lingering finish.

The 'Winemaker's Cuvèe' Pinot Noir comes from five vineyards that span across the Willamette Valley. As this begins to open it releases earthy aromatics of black tea, forest floor, peat moss, black cherry and anise show off this impressive bouquet. This leads to flavors of red cherry pie, black tea, wild blackberry and black truffle all wrapped in a wonderful mouthfeel and texture. (Best 2017-2027) - July, 2017 (OB)
