The 2015 Chiaramonte Nero d’Avola is a excellent showing in this vintage. It begins with inviting aromas of fresh red berries which combine with exotic spices, earth, florals and herbs all taking shape. On the palate this is medium-bodied and well balanced with a lovely combination of fruit and acidity at its core, which persists through the spice-tinged finish. Overall, this is an excellent Nero d’Avola which is drinking beautifully right now.
