The 2017 Chianti Colli Fiorentini Darno emerges from the estate's oldest vines and incorporates a dollop of Canaiolo in the blend. Dark cherry, tobacco, spice, leather and floral notes are all nicely balanced in this soft, open-knit Chianti from the Colli Fiorentini appellation. Aging in cement keeps the flavors fresh, something that was much needed in this vintage.
