Light, green-tinged gold. Mineral-accented scents of pear, tangerine and fennel, with a floral nuance adding complexity. Silky orchard fruit flavors become sweeter and deeper with air while maintaining urgency. Closes with strong stony bite and thrust, leaving Meyer lemon and floral notes behind. This distinctly vibrant, minerally take on its variety has more in common with examples from Spain's Terra Alta region than with southern France. Josh Raynolds, Sept 2015
