Another outstanding wine is the 2013 Zinfandel Dante Dusi, which has considerable freshness and purity to go with classic Zinfandel notes of white pepper, cigar wrapper, spice and sweet cherry and kirsch-like fruit. Medium to full-bodied, elegant and silky, it comes from own rooted, dry farmed vines planted in 1945 and spent 18 months in neutral French and Hungarian oak barrels.
