The 2015 Pinot Noir is a simply marvelous showing from Claus Presinger, which is grown on the Parndorf Plain, an elevated plateau influenced by cool winds from the west and northwest resulting in a beautiful fresh and vibrant wine. This is elegant and refined with beautiful aromatics of wild berries, spices, pepper and dried floral all coming together beautifully in the glass. On the palate this is remarkably balanced with a sensational silky texture which glides effortlessly across into the spicy, mineral laced finish. While this is absolutely gorgeous today it should also become even more compelling as it evolves gracefully over the next decade.(Best 2018-2028) - January, 2017 (JD)
